THE APPLICATION PROCESS IS EASY

1. SHARE WITH YOUR PARENTS
To begin, student’s are highly encouraged to share the website photo gallery and FAQ page with their parents.

2. EMAIL US Interest
Share your interest in LMU Area Homes with me by sending an email. Be sure to include 2-3 references for each student in your group.

3. Visit The Home
Once your references have been checked, we will set up a meeting for you to visit and tour the home.

4. Submit
Submit your LMU Area Homes Application, after visiting and touring the residence.

When sending over your first email, you are asked to include the name and telephone number of 2-3 references for each roommate in your group. Please follow the following format:

Email Subject:      LMU AREA HOMES “John Smith Group”

John Smith (roommate 1):
    – Former teacher: Mary, (222) 333 – 4444
– Family Friend: Robert, (222) 333 – 4444
– Professor: Mark (222) 333 – 4444

Please include each of the roommates in the same email in the above format.

A former employer, high school teacher, Loyola Marymount University professor, prior landlord, LMU or high school coach, long time family friend or Loyola Housing advisor make great personal references. Email this information to me in a separate email for each roommate or combine it into one email for the entire group.

I will contact references, then set up a time to show a group the LMU Area Homes. If the group would like to move forward with a housing lease after visiting the home, then parents will proceed to completing the rental application.
